   A laser pistol fires a coherent beam of high intensity light up to
a maximum range of 200m, with an optimum range of 100m. It is powered
by a hydrogen energy cell which is good for 10 shots before it needs
recharging or replacing.

   Very highly protective armors (13-16 rED) will automatically deflect 
the first hit, and extremely protective armors (17+ rED) will also 
deflect the second hit, from a laser pistol; subsequent hits, however,
will do full damage.

by a hydrogen energy cell which is good for 5-6 shots before it needs
recharging or replacing.

   Very highly protective armors (13-16 rED) will automatically deflect 
the first hit, and extremely protective armors (17+ rED) will also 
deflect the second hit, from a laser pistol; subsequent hits, however,
will do full damage.
